About this list
Names and offense descriptions come from a list circulated on social media that reproduces the DOJ's published offense wording. Categories are editorial groupings added here for browsing. Where a grant was a commutation (sentence reduced) rather than a full pardon, or where the source list is incomplete, a note is shown on the entry.
The list is not complete: by mid-2026 more than 1,700 people had received clemency in Trump's second term, most of them through the January 6 proclamation, and grants have continued since. The official list is the DOJ Office of the Pardon Attorney's grants page, which is back after briefly appearing empty on September 22, 2026. Other records: the January 6 proclamation in the Federal Register and the Wikipedia list of second-term clemency grants , which cites individual warrants and news coverage.
Links on each entry: solid-bordered links go to the section of the U.S. Code that generally defines each listed offense, hosted by Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute. They are matched from the offense wording, so they may not reflect the exact subsection charged, and state or D.C. offenses have no statute link. The dashed link searches Justice Department records (press releases, charging documents and clemency pages) for that person's case.
